If anyone could give me an easy-to-understand tutorial on how to host JavaScript files, it would be totally awesome. I have a site I'm making, but I can't figure out how to do it. :\ I'm using this code and the tutorial is something you have to sign up for to read. I don't want to sign up. Help would be appreciated.

Why do you need to host them? Are yo making these codes from scratch?

No, it's a code that allows you to use different codes for different skins. I've tried another code, but... it didn't work, so I tried the other one. I just need to know how to host the JavaScript files...
I know about certain things, but I joined to read the tutorial late last night... Too confusing... Didn't understand one thing. xD
So no, I'm not making codes from scratch. I can't create a code to save my life.

Have you tried using this code?
The Headers/footers for different skin codes are very unpredictable and can ruin your forum if you don't use them correctly though. If you can avoid using it, I highly would try to stay away from them.

Yeah... It's easier, but for some reason, when viewing threads, when I used certain codes, they didn't go into effect. They were just the entire, say, cbox code just written at the bottom of the forum. -shrugs- Dunno why. Maybe I'll try again. Maybe it'll work this time. Maybe last time I screwed something up. But thanks for the advice. x3
