The plot here on Crumbled Times is an open one, meant for creative RPing and an enjoyable time. Some might say there is no "set" plot and that is sort of correct, for staff would rather have the members get caught up in their own mini-plots then have to worry about a main one, but here is a quick over view of the status.Dying Eagle padded into his den, his eyes have closed in thought. It had been a long day, and he wasn't sure how long he could go on like this. Everything seemed so...wrong. The world around his fellow cats seemed to be started to crumble. All his loved ones...his past mate, parents, siblings, they were all dead and he couldn't even know if they were still out there, watching or what had happened after their death. He sighed, laid down in his nest and curled up, waiting for sleep to take him. Though, no matter what he tried, thoughts that were unwanted still churned in his mind and he couldn't ignore them. It was like they were screaming in his head, telling him to listen to them, but he shook his head after he gained a headache and let out an impatient hiss. This was starting to get annoying.
All of a sudden, his ears pricked as he heard a yowl from outside his nest. What was in that yowl, was it one of anger? Sadness? No, it was shock. Shock and confusion. "Come quick," the cat yowled for all the ancient cats to hear, "come quick, something has happened!" Dying Eagle stood up right away, fear prickling in his paws as he pushed his way out of the bramble covered cave. He saw a brown tabby elder, and he guessed that that had to be who had been yowling. Before he could speak, the elder flicked his tail upwards and the leader gazed towards the sky, to see a giant star shooting across the sky. His jaw dropped in dismay. They had seen shooting stars before, but only at night. Even though Dying Eagle had been trying to sleep, the sun still blazed high in the sky.
No, this star was different in more ways then one. Not only did it burn brightly in the pure daylight, but it did not have the yellowish tail shooting stars normally had, no it had a green one. This was a bright green streak that still glittered in the sky, like leaves that sparkled in the sun. What does it mean? He wondered to himself. He had never seen anything like this, and he had only seen the beginning. Soon, cats would find they had powers, ones they would never have dreamed of. Others would have morphtations. Some would find they had wings, others will have more than one tail, more than two eyes (or only one eye) and others would, well have different un-cat like body parts. Some, would even become poisonous. This shooting star was no normal one, and it had just changed the way the ancient cats viewed their world.
